This isn’t Sharknado… it’s Sharkano.
Also known as the Kavachi Submarine Volcano, it’s named for the species of shark that lives in the area. The volcano has been erupting since October 2021 and is one of the most active volcanoes in the Pacific. Take a look at the BlackSky imagery of volcanic eruptions from June through July this year.
