We may also combine the information we collect through these tracking technologies with other personal information we have collected about you.
Cookies are small files that a website or its service provider transfers to a computer’s hard drive through a web browser that enable the site’s or service provider’s systems to recognize the user’s browser and capture and remember certain information. In general, we and our service providers use cookies and other tracking technologies (such as web beacons, tracking pixels, and HTTP referrers) to optimize the functionality of our website, to help us understand how our website is used, and to provide users with interest-based content or advertising based on their browsing activities. If you do not want to have cookies placed on your device, you should set your browser to refuse cookies before accessing our website. By way of example, we use these kinds of tracking technologies in connection with:
- Data Analytics: We may use different analytics services from time to time such as Google Analytics that help us collect non-personally identifiable information about how our online services are being used. For example, we can count the number of individuals who visit our website from a particular advertisement.
- Email Campaigns: We may use tracking technologies to measure the effectiveness of our email campaigns, such as by counting the number of individuals who open or act upon an email message, determining when an email message is opened, and determining how many times an email message is forwarded.
For information about interest-based advertising, visit the Digital Advertising Alliance (youradchoices.com) and the Network Advertising Initiative (networkadvertising.org). You can adjust your device settings to opt out of interest-based advertising or you may opt out by hitting on this button. Please note these actions do not opt you out of all advertising and you will continue to receive generic ads. You can use your browser controls to opt out of social media platform ad tracking and analytics.
Please note these opt-out tools may be limited to the device and web browser you are using to the extent the opt out is based on your device ID or browser ID. If you use another device or browser, you may need to opt out on each device and browser. If you block or clear cookies from your browser, it may remove the opt out setting, requiring you to opt out again.
We do not currently have the technology to automatically respond to “Do Not Track” (DNT) signals sent by web browsers, mobile devices, or other mechanisms.

CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS
This section provides additional information regarding the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (the “CCPA”) and supplements the disclosures and information throughout this Privacy Statement. The commitments in this section apply only to individuals covered by the CCPA, and are subject to certain statutory exceptions laid out in the CCPA itself.
The personal information we generally collect, use, and disclose regarding California residents, as well as the categories of sources of such information, is described above in the sections, “THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT” and “HOW WE USE AND SHARE YOUR INFORMATION”. We do not sell California residents’ personal information (and will not do so without presenting an opportunity to opt-out, as would be required under the CCPA). Any disclosures of such information to third parties over the preceding 12 months have been in accordance with the permitted categories in the “HOW WE USE AND SHARE YOUR INFORMATION” section above. We also do not sell the personal information of minors under 16 years of age, and if it ever did would require affirmative authorization to do so.
The CCPA creates a right for covered individuals to request that a company disclose what, if any, personal information that company collects, uses, discloses, and sells about them specifically, or to request the deletion of personal information the company has collected or maintained about them. If you believe you have such a right under the CCPA and would like to exercise that right with respect to BlackSky, please submit an email request to [email protected] with “Request to Know” or “Request to Delete” in the subject line. For a “Request to Know,” please specify what details you would like to know, including any specific pieces of personal information you would like to access. For a “Request to Delete,” please specify what information you would like to have deleted (which may be all your information as required by the CCPA). If you submit a request, we may ask for information necessary to verify your identity and eligibility to assert this right, and we will respond to verified requests in accordance with the CCPA. You may also utilize an authorized agent to exercise your CCPA rights on your behalf. You may not be discriminated against because you exercise any of your rights under the CCPA, and BlackSky is committed to this principle.
